Nitrogen

We offer the option of filling your light truck or passenger car tires with nitrogen.

Benefits:

  • Improved fuel mileage
  • Less tire wear
  • Extended tire lifespan
  • Nitrogen is less likely to see through the tire walls than oxygen, providing a more constant air pressure during changing temperatures.
  • Nitrogen inflated tires can also help in preventing corrosion of a steel or aluminum rim.

Tire Balancing

Tire balancing is important to extend the life of your tires and to increase safety.  Out of balance tires lead to uneven wear, vibration and potentially unsafe performance.  Tires should be checked for balance every 4000-6000 miles.

Signs your tires might need balancing:

  • Vibrations when driving
  • Uneven tread wear
  • Steering that becomes less smooth over the life of the tires
  • Pulling to one side

Tire Installation

We are happy to install your new tires you purchase from us.  Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff is happy to assist you in evaluating your current tires for replacement.

You may need new tires if:

  • Your tread is below 4/32, or cannot pass the penny test
  • Irregular tread wear
  • Bulges, bumps or soft spots on the tire
  • Damage to tire that cannot be repaired

Tire Repair

One of the most common causes for a flat tire is from a sharp object.  It could be a nail or screw in your tire, or hitting a sharp object while driving.  Depending on the the damage done and where it is on the tire, we can repair your tire.  Driving with a flat tire, especially at high speeds can result in an unsafe driving situation.  The longer you drive on a tire with a slow leak from a foreign object causes more damage to the tire and may compromise our ability to repair you tire.  It might  cause you to have to replace the  tire completely, so let us help you with your tire repair as soon as possible.
